Intern/Volunteer Opportunities

The Superior Court of California County of Sonoma welcomes interns and volunteers. Many opportunities are available throughout the court system, and many times are individualized to fit specific needs.

As of January 1, 2001 all Superior Court employees are exempt from the provisions of the Sonoma County Civil Service System, are considered to be employees of the Court and are subject to the Court"s personnel policies. In this status, employees of the Superior Court are entitled to all benefits provided to employees of the County of Sonoma, including but not limited to participation in County employee retirement and insurance plans, vacation, holiday and sick leave benefits.
The Superior Court of Sonoma County currently has 18 judges, 6 commissioners, 220 employees. Court operations are conducted at four locations in the County: the main courthouse in the County Civic Center (civil and criminal operations), Los Guilicos (juvenile court operations) and the Coddingtown and Empire Annex (some civil operations). |
